Vladimir Kara-Murza thought he'd die in a Siberian prison. A secretive prisoner swap granted him freedom

Vladimir Kara-Murza, who was released as part of a prisoner exchange between the west and Russia, spoke to a few hundred from Berlin's Russian community on Sept.3 about life in a maximum security prison, and his hopes for Russia's future.

In his first Canadian interview since being released in a historic prisoner swap, Vladimir Kara-Murza talks about being imprisoned by Russia for criticizing the invasion of Ukraine.
