UN report finds Israel has destroyed Gaza's health system, with 'disregard' for international law

Israeli attacks on hospitals in Gaza have devastated the Palestinian enclave's health system and raised serious concerns about Israel's compliance with international law, the UN Human Rights Office said in a report on Tuesday.

WHO marks 5 years since COVID-19 came on its radar — it became the worst pandemic in a century

On Dec. 31, 2019, the World Health Organization first learned about COVID-19, which ended up becoming the worst pandemic in over a century. And though WHO has said the emergency phase of COVID-19 is over, they note the virus continues to spread widely across the globe, endangering people's lives.
