U.S. journalist detained in Russia after visiting for family emergency

Russia has detained an editor at U.S.-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty for failing to register as a foreign agent while visiting for a family emergency, the broadcaster said.

Canadian sentenced for message suggesting Anne Frank's diary was not authentic

A Dutch court on Thursday sentenced a man to two months in jail for projecting a message by laser onto the Anne Frank House Museum in Amsterdam that suggested Frank's diary was a forgery or that she had not written it.
