World's largest gannet colony recovering

Scientists from the University of Edinburgh and volunteers from the Seabird Centre are monitoring the apparent recovery of the gannet colony at Bass Rock off the coast of Scotland. They are using drones and AI to gauge the numbers after a massive die-off due to an avian flu epidemic during the 2022 mating season.
