The Wilson Center is a longstanding destination of choice for Canadian newsmakers visiting Washington, with its Canada Institute providing a venue for news conferences, and discussions, just over a block from the White House. It's now on the list of organizations slated for gutting.

IOC board puts boxing back on Olympic program for L.A. in 2028

Trump visits Kennedy Center for 1st time since installing himself as chair

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday visited the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where he took a tour and chaired a meeting of its board of directors. It was his first time at the marquee arts institution since he began remaking it at the start of his second term.
