An enormous wave crashed onto a Ventura, Calif., beach on Thursday, sweeping away people, cars and trees. Some are calling it a rogue wave, but experts aren't sure. CBC explains what a rogue wave is, how they are caused and whether we'll be seeing more of them as the planet warms.
