Putin's muted response to Hamas attack speaks volumes about Russia's deepening ties with Iran

After decades of friendly relations with Israel, Putin's response to last Saturday's deadly attack by Hamas suggests that Russia is aligning more closely with Iran, a known backer of the militant group.
