A prominent U.K. Sikh died just before another activist was killed in B.C. Some see a connection

An alleged "hit list" published by Indian media of Sikhs who support an independent homeland and are accused of extremist activities. Avtar Singh Khanda who died in Birmingham in June is on the far left.

One Sikh community near Birmingham, U.K., is questioning the official version of the death of a prominent local independence activist in light of the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia.
