Whether above ground or sheltering in a car park, normalcy evades Kyiv citizens as Russia invades Ukraine

Kyiv feels like a ghost town these days, but Lydia Sokolova, 74, was one of the few citizens on the streets of Ukraine's capital ahead of a weekend curfew, determined to feed her son's cat. Others, however, have sheltered underground. Day-to-day life in Kyiv has been turned on its head since the Russian invasion began Thursday.
