Dutch researchers train honeybees to detect COVID-19

Researchers in the Netherlands used the hypersensitive scent response of honeybees to teach them to react to the scent of the coronavirus. Scientists say the bees can detect the virus immediately, eliminating the wait for a standard test result, which can take hours or days.
