Prince Edward makes royal visit to Canada — pandemic-style

Royal visits to Canada may be out of the question right now, but Prince Edward took to Zoom recently to check in virtually with Canadian Armed Forces reserve regiments that have him as their colonel-in-chief. The visit included a master warrant officer who joined in from a truck stop in Montana.

Dozens of protesters killed in Myanmar Saturday in crackdown on dissent

Myanmar's security forces shot and killed at least 50 protesters on Saturday, news reports and witnesses said, a brutal crackdown on dissent that came as the leader of the ruling junta said the military will protect the people and strive for democracy.
